The Centre for Responsible Tourism was formed from a passion for espousing sustainability tourism, forging partnerships between the different stakeholders.
Started by Kevin Phun, a responsible tourism advocate, lecturer and practitioner, driven by the desire to create responsible and sustainable development in tourism.
We combine development knowledge in our consulting work, seeking to deliver solutions that reflect tourism strategies that embed developmental knowledge and understanding.
Kevin’s work in sustainability is also on the ground, where he has involved hands on in delivering strategies that bring about sustainability.
He is passionate in enabling responsible business practices to bring about responsible development.
Kevin holds an MSc in Responsible Tourism from the Leeds Metropolitan University (now known as Leeds Beckett University), and is pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Development with the School of the Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).
He also is a qualified Sustainability Reporting consultant, where he adds value to reporting with his knowledge and experience in delivering and working in sustainability related projects.
